im currently using notes app on my phone but having problems searching for particular trades. Is it better flipping pages of physical notebook? WHo has tried both digital and physical forms? Which do you prefer? Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on what you want in your Journals and the goal for journalling. Personally i use word docs, the work for me perfectly.
My journals are wordy with all that happens during trading.
If i just want the buy/sell levels. SL and Tp. I can access those from the trading history on the platform.
You can always get adetailed report of trading account from the platform
In conclusion, it all depends on what you write in your journals!! If you are analysing numbers,etc. Definately excel sheet would be better
